Chapter 11
I turned my head toward the direction of the sound. Then I saw the owner of the voice.
It was a man, standing not too far from me.
Even through my tear-blurred vision, I could tell he was handsome.
I raised my right hand and weakly beckoned him.
“C-come here… closer…”
I want to see that handsome face… up close… ugh.
My voice came out hoarse from crying.
Without a word, the man approached me and lowered himself to my level. His gaze dropped downward.
I wiped my eyes with my sleeve. Then I could see his face clearly.
Even crouching, he seemed tall. His silver hair swayed lightly in the night breeze. Pale skin, a high, straight nose, and a delicately sculpted, beautiful face.
He was wearing a white shirt, its deep V-neck collar particularly striking.
Strangely enough, the top looked familiar. It was exactly the same as the one Hernan had worn.
But even though they wore the same clothes, the two men gave off completely different atmospheres.
Hernan had a subtle sensuality about him.
It wasn’t something you noticed immediately upon first meeting him, but the moment you became aware of it, you’d find yourself irresistibly drawn in.
In contrast, this man exuded a deeper, more provocative sensuality than Hernan.
The kind that made it impossible not to be captivated by his physical allure, no matter how much you tried to resist.
The man had silver eyes that matched his hair. Their pale color made them look as if they might shatter at a touch.
His clear, almost fragile gaze never left me.
It was my first time seeing this beautiful man.
Was he someone from the imperial palace?
