Chapter 01
“This can’t be happening.”
My hands trembled as I gripped my phone.
The fantasy romance novel I had sobbed over for the past year—The Curly-Haired Grand Duchess—had just ended.
And with it… the tragic death of my favorite sub male lead.
Sion Luxior.
“This just can’t be real…!!!”
I buried my face into the bed and let out a guttural scream.
Sion Luxior.
Who was he?
In a world overflowing with emperor male leads, duke male leads, and northern grand duke male leads, he was a rare gem—a knight male lead.
And not just any knight.
A cold and lonely northern knight who showed warmth only to the woman he loved.
A loyal, one-sided love character.
He was the one who got me hopelessly hooked on second male leads. A character so perfectly tailored to my taste, it felt like he had been crafted down to the cellular level just for me.
“Sniff… Sion…”
And true to the fate of all sub male leads, he died a lonely death on a snow-covered battlefield—his love never returned.
Even in his final moments, he clung to his pure and earnest feelings for the female lead.
“This is… this is just too unfair. Sion deserved her love more than anyone!”
I sobbed and pounded the bed, then glared at the novel’s cover—where the main couple smiled blissfully—and hurled curses at them.
“You ungrateful, heartless jerks! Get divorced in the side stories!”
But unlike my bitterness, the comment section was overflowing with celebration.

“Haa…”
With a sigh soaked in tears, I checked the author’s afterword.
To all the readers who loved The Curly-Haired Grand Duchess, thank you sincerely. If given the chance, I hope to return with side stories that capture the warmth of the North’s winter.
— Winter Goddess
As expected—but still disappointing.
Not even a single word about the sub male lead who had been discarded like a used rag.
I flopped onto my bed and stared at the worn-out ceiling of my tiny apartment.
“…What a crappy world.”
Sure, reality was unfair. I knew that.
But I had hoped fiction would be different.
Even if my life was a mess, I wished my favorite character could at least find happiness.
But he was a sub male lead.
A character destined never to be chosen.
Unlike the main male lead—who stumbled into luck and miracles with every breath—Sion never got even a sliver of fortune.
“Not everyone can be the main character… but this is just cruel.”
He suffered in the shadows, risked his life for her, gave everything…
And this was his ending?
“Sniff… If only there had been someone… someone who supported Sion’s love.”
Just as I muttered those empty words—
Ding!
A notification popped up.
“…Huh?”

Note: Participation is final and cannot be withdrawn.
“…Devotion Fairy?”
I stared at the screen with dead eyes.
From years of reading web novels, I already knew what this was.
A cheap marketing trick.
“What a joke—”
My finger tapped [Accept] without hesitation.
“Sion merch? I’m in.”
My heart pounded as I waited.
But nothing happened.
The screen stayed black.
“…What?”
Then—
Whooooosh—
“…?”
Something white drifted down across the screen.
Snow.
Snow… inside my apartment.
I rubbed my eyes.
Ding!
A translucent window appeared.
[Event Host: Thank you for joining <Become Your Bias’s Devotion Fairy!>]
Welcome to the world of The Curly-Haired Grand Duchess!
May the goddess’s blessing be with you! ^0^/
And then—
Everything went black.
“Ugh…”
When I opened my eyes again—
I was somewhere completely unfamiliar.
“W-Where am I…?”
It looked like the inside of a medieval castle—straight out of a fantasy novel.
Snow fell quietly outside the window.
Whoooosh—
“Achoo!”
Shivering, I looked around.
Something was… wrong.
“…What the heck?”
The ceiling was ridiculously high.
The floor tiles were massive.
Even the weeds by the wall were oversized.
“…????”
My brain short-circuited.
Ding!

“…This is insane.”
I stared blankly.
“That stupid message… was real?”
All I wanted was Sion merch.
Instead, I got isekai’d.
And on top of that—
“‘Devoted Fairy’? Seriously?”
A bad feeling crept in.
Slowly, I looked down.
“…You’ve got to be kidding me.”
I wasn’t human.
My body was tiny—barely two or three heads tall.
My skin—
Pink.
My hair—
Pink.
My outfit?
Pink fleece pajamas and fuzzy slippers.
“…Kill me.”
And then—
A strange sensation at my back.
I twisted around.
Tiny, pathetic wings fluttered behind me.
“What the hell is this?!”
I shouted.
Transported into a fantasy world—fine.
But this design?
Unacceptable.
And worst of all—
“My favorite character is already dead! What am I supposed to fangirl over?!”
Sion Luxior.
Dead.
Buried.
Gravestone included.
“I’m not doing this. Send me back!”
I stomped my foot.
Ding!
[Devotion Goal: Help Sion Luxior find love and happiness!]
Ding!
[Event Host: Starting point: Northern Luxior Grand Duchy, Year 918]
Mission completes upon achieving a happy ending!
Good luck and happy fangirling! ^0^/
“…Year 918?”
That was—
The beginning of the story.
Which meant—
“Sion… is still alive.”
Electricity shot through my body.
My fists clenched.
“…Alright. It’s over for everyone now.”
If I was stuck here—
Then I’d do everything I couldn’t do as a reader.
“I’m coming for you, Sion.”
Your fairy.
Your supporter.
Your devoted fangirl.
“No matter what it takes… I will give you a happy ending.”
My declaration echoed through the cold halls of the Northern Grand Duke’s castle.
