Chapter1 part2
“Forget it, there’s no time to study this. I’ll save my life first and think about everything else later.” Song Ling sighed, then his eyes became firm.
“Consume 5 Profound Source Points to upgrade Gale Blade!”
On the pale golden panel, the number showing his remaining Profound Source blurred for a moment and dropped to zero.
The word “Beginner” behind Gale Blade changed to “Minor Success”, then quickly to “Major Success”, “Perfection”, and finally stopped at “Limit Break.”
At the same time, Song Ling felt his body becoming stronger at an unbelievable speed.
Although his physique didnât visibly change, the feeling of weakness had completely disappeared. Threads of warm energy appeared in his dantian, circulating throughout his body and filling him with strength.
Having inherited the original body’s memories, Song Ling knew this was the inner force unique to martial artists.
Ten strands of inner force meant one had officially entered the ranks of recognized martial artists.
As Song Ling recalled every move of the Gale Blade technique, a sense of familiarity emergedâas if he had practiced it countless times before. The long blade in his hand moved as naturally as if it were part of his own arm.
ăYour mastery of the skill “Gale Blade” has reached an unprecedented level. You have comprehended its core essence and obtained the Limit-Break move: Moon-Severing Wind Splendor!ă

A cold moon hung high in the sky as light rain continued to fall.
Inside Redstone Village, filled with corpses, there was only deathly silence.
A lizard-like monster approached a mother and daughter. Its massive, hill-like body created overwhelming psychological pressure. The woman tightly held her daughter in her arms, her body trembling like a sieve, nearly fainting from fear.
The creature stretched out a sharp claw and forcibly pried apart the woman’s arms, revealing the little girl she was protecting.
“Not bad. Very tender. Should be delicious.”
The lizard monster grinned greedily.
“Pl-please⊠please don’t eat my daughter. Eat me instead! Eat me!!” The woman was terrified to the extreme, yet she still held her daughter tightly while begging humbly for mercy.
“Hehehe, don’t rush. I’m going to eat both of you.”
Green patterns covered the monsterâs skin. Its grotesque muscles bulged like tumors across its body.
It raised its right hand and reached for the woman’s head.

A young man with long black hair and an otherworldly appearance rushed out from the curtain of rain, a long blade in his hand.
Water splashed beneath his feet as he charged forward at high speed.
“Hm?” The lizard monster paused, then sneered while swinging its claw.
“I was planning to save you for last, but since you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish!”
Lightning suddenly split the sky, illuminating Song Lingâs expressionless face.
The blade in his hand flashed through the air like a cold moon in the heavens.
Limit-Break Move â Moon-Severing Wind Splendor!
One of the lizard monsterâs thick arms flew high into the air as thick, filthy black blood sprayed from the wound.
It let out a miserable scream. The intense pain made its whole body tremble as its strength rapidly declined.
Within its vertical, emotionless pupils, a trace of human-like fear appearedâbecause it had absolutely no idea how Song Lingâs strike had worked.
Not giving it any chance to retaliate, Song Ling unleashed all ten strands of his inner force. The power surged into his right arm.
Taking a step forward, he closed in, grabbed the monsterâs thick neck with one hand, and violently slammed it into the ground.
Boom!
The monsterâs head smashed hard against the ground. Blood flowed from its eyes, nose, and mouth. Before it could recover, Song Ling stepped on its head and brought his blade down with full force.
“Die!!”
Slash!
The monsterâs head separated from its body. Scorching blood splashed across Song Lingâs beautiful face, giving him an almost demonic appearance.
