Synopsis

“Before I met you, I thought I was a monster.
You were the one who changed my world, Renia.”

Renia Crestian, a veteran con artist.

Her plan was simple: become the fake heiress of the empire’s only ducal family, then retire quietly after finishing the job.

But her life completely changed because of the man she met during a blind date arranged for the sake of her false identity.

“If you choose me, you’ll never regret it. I’m pretty good at everything.”

With a handsome face and a sly smile in his eyes, the man approaches her smoothly.

He definitely seems like the dangerous fox-type.

“…I don’t think I can trust you. How do I know you’re not just all talk?”

“If you doubt me, you can check for yourself. I’ve got plenty of time today. Want to go out together?”

Just as she tries to leave, feeling a bad premonition, he whispers in a chilling voice.

“You… aren’t actually a real noble, are you?”

Story

Since their goals happen to align anyway,
Renia incorporates him into her plan and completes her fake family setup.

Together, they head toward the capital.

But somehow, things start to go strangely wrong.

The shameless blind date partner who claimed to be a former mercenary seems suspicious, and incidents keep happening—assassins, kidnappings, and constant trouble.

After many twists and turns, they finally meet the duke.

But the duke drops an unexpected bombshell.

“It’s been a while, Lord Calerius.
Or should I say… Your Highness, the Crown Prince.”

Of all things, her blind date partner turns out to be the missing Crown Prince.

While Renia is seriously considering running away immediately, Calerius leaves her with a meaningful promise.

“I promise you, Renia.
You’ll gain something far greater than you ever imagined.
Something that will make even a ducal family look insignificant.”
