“I’m the Villain’s Daughter?”

Leonardo Shablin, Marquis of Shablin, was the strange troublemaker of the Shablin Duke family.

He had skin as white and bright as fresh snow.
Golden eyes that shone like the sun.
A tall, beautiful body that looked like it was made by the best sculptor in the empire just to tempt people.

He also had long silver hair and such perfect features that people said looking at him once could make you go blind.

As he grew older, stories about his beauty spread across the empire.

So many women fell in love with him at first sight that marriage proposals filled an entire mansion!

But Marquis Leo ignored all of them.
He only cared about studying.

He stayed away from drinking, gambling, and women.
He believed in morality and justice.
He enjoyed healthy sports and charity work.

He lived like a perfect noble.

So everyone wondered:

“Will any woman ever win the love of that perfect, cold man?”

When he turned twenty-two, he married.
But the couple was distant and cold toward each other.

Then something unbelievable happened.

After his wife gave birth and died, Marquis Leo completely changed.

He became a wild, reckless man no one could imagine.

“Am I crazy…?”

The little girl in the mirror stared at me.
And I stared back at her.

She had clear, shining eyes like an aurora.
Her hair was a mysterious purple, slightly darker than her eyes.
Her face was so cute that anyone would ask, “Who are her parents?”

I pulled my cheeks.
The girl in the mirror did the same.
She even slapped her own cheeks.

Smack!

“Ow… that hurts!”

I held my soft cheeks in shock.

‘Did I really become Eresha Shablin?’

No matter how many days passed, I was still Eresha Shablin.

And who is that?

She is a minor extra character in a romance fantasy novel.
She gets kicked out of the family with her villain father and dies miserably.

Luckily, the last novel I read before I died was that very book:
“Who Is the Heir?”

Even though Eresha had no lines in the story, her father was important in the beginning.

He was originally the heir of the main family.

The novel is a tragic story about the fight for the heir position in the Shablin Duke family.

Almost everyone dies.
It was so depressing that I had trauma after reading it.

Leonardo Shablin was the eldest son and rightful heir.
But he ignored family duties and even ignored his only daughter.
He drank all the time.

He got into fights outside.
He wasted the family’s money and treasures.
After enduring five years of his behavior, the Duke finally kicked him out.

Right after stepping outside the gate, Leo was hit by a carriage and died.

Eresha, who was only five years old, died too.

‘And now I’m that villain’s daughter?!’

This is crazy!

If I had to be reborn, why not as the daughter of a powerful secret mastermind?
Or even the daughter of a scary tyrant emperor?

Why did I have to become the daughter of a useless troublemaker who gets kicked out and dies?!

Just then, the door opened.

“Miss Eresha, you’re here!”

It was Evot, Eresha’s personal maid.

Five years ago, Marquis Leo assigned one maid to Eresha.
Evot volunteered because she thought Eresha was very cute.

She believed Eresha was the only good thing in the Duke family.

After Leo sent Eresha to live in an empty mansion with Evot, he never came to see her again.
He said he didn’t want to see her.

As years passed, Eresha became almost invisible in the family.

“What are you doing? Looking in the mirror? You must think you’re very cute, Miss!”

“….”

That’s not why.

Yes, this child is unbelievably beautiful.

But what’s the point?
She will die at five years old.

“Miss, shall we go for a walk again? Maybe once a week?”

“Who are we meeting this time?”

“Huh?”

My voice sounded small and childish.
Because I was in a child’s body.

But right now, I felt strong survival instincts.

In the original story, there are less than three months before we get kicked out.

And Evot’s reaction confirmed something.

In the novel, Evot secretly took money from noble ladies.
She arranged “coincidental” meetings between Eresha and women who wanted to see Leo.

Those women were fans of Leo’s beauty.

They couldn’t talk to him directly, so they used me.

Eventually, the Duke found out.
Evot was tortured and kicked out.
And later, my father and I were kicked out too.

I can’t lose Evot.
I have no one else.

So I clenched my tiny fists.

“Do you want me to die? If Grandpa finds out, we’re in big trouble!”

Evot suddenly turned pale and fell to her knees.

“I’m sorry, Miss! I won’t do it again! Please forgive me!”

Oh? It worked?

“No more secret money. I promise! My grandmother is sick. I needed money… I don’t want to leave you…”

I sighed.

In the novel, she really did need money for her sick grandmother.

“Is that true?”

“Yes! I promise!”

Alright.
She took care of Eresha for five years.

“Then help me. If you help me, I’ll keep it secret. I’ll also find a way to get you money.”

Her tears stopped.

“Miss… since when do you speak so well?”

Oops.

I quickly changed to a more childish tone.

“C-can you help me? I don’t wanna get kicked out by Grandpa.”

“Yes! I’ll help you! Anything!”

Finally, I relaxed.

To survive in this house…

‘I need to fix my villain father first.’

And now, I had my first helper.
