Chapter – 01

In the Bestian Empire, which had unified the entire continent, there lived a mad dog.

His name was Aldehyd.

A man who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and unified the entire continent.

There were stories that he had slain a dragon, and rumors that he had beaten the Demon King half to death.

In other words, he was what people would call the strongest man in the world.

But as they say, even God does not give everything to a single human.

“What is it, old man?”

Aldehyd spoke as he elegantly stretched out his long legs.

The man called old man by him—the Emperor—let out a deep sigh.

What a rude bastard. His personality is completely rotten. Just because he’s the strongest, does that make everything okay?

The Emperor had granted him the noble title of Duke and the position of Imperial Knight Commander.

Aldehyd, who had looked impatient the entire conversation, checked his wristwatch and suddenly stood up.

“W-Where are you going…?”

“I’ve got an appointment. Why? You got more to say?”

As Aldehyd raised an eyebrow, the Emperor immediately shrank back.

“Nothing particularly important…”

“Good. I’m not getting engaged.”

Yes.

Better to just not talk to Aldehyd at all.

That guy was completely insane.

Whistling, Aldehyd arrived in front of a building.

It was the headquarters of the Anmix Knights, the Emperor’s direct knight order.

The person Aldehyd, the Knight Commander, came to see was not anyone particularly special.

Just a magician.

Aldehyd, whose fierce expression made it seem like he could split the world in half if angered, hurried to open the archive room door—then suddenly stopped.

He pulled out a small cute mirror with a ribbon attached from his pocket and checked his appearance.

He stared at his reflection thoughtfully.

I look kinda cute today.

Because he forced the corners of his mouth upward, his face actually looked even more intimidating than usual—but he didn’t realize it.

After taking a deep breath with what he believed was his cutest possible expression, Aldehyd carefully opened the door.

A quiet voice came from inside.

“What? Who comes in without knocking?”

The man who didn’t even flinch before the Emperor immediately shrank.

Then he spoke.

“Sowwy… noona… can I come in?”

Shockingly, he was speaking in baby talk.

If the Emperor had heard this, he might have fainted.

But the woman simply replied casually.

“Alde? Sure, come in.”

As Aldehyd fully stepped inside, the lights clicked on.

Like a puppy with separation anxiety, he walked straight toward her, following her scent.

“Aldehyd, wait there.”

The huge man instantly drooped his shoulders.

Anyone could see he looked sulky.

“I’m not Aldehyd… I’m Ppuppu… sniff…”

“You should speak like an adult.”

“Sniff… okay…”

Aldehyd cautiously watched her reaction.

Because she was the person he respected and loved most in the world—his noona.

Meanwhile, Sienna—the “noona” in question—pressed her fingers to her forehead.

A young man suddenly speaking in baby talk… how unfortunate.

But she had no idea what caused it.

She sighed and pointed to the sofa.

“Sit here first.”

“Okaay…”

The giant man squeezed himself into a single-person sofa.

Sienna sat across from him and asked seriously:

“So Alde—no, Ppuppu. Why exactly are you talking like that?”

“Huh? You said I was cute before… and that you like men who act adorable…”

When a huge man with a cold face tries to act cute, it becomes mentally exhausting to witness.

Sienna brushed her hair back.

“I missed you.”

“I told you not to act like this at work. You’re my superior and I’m your subordinate.”

Sienna pressed her forehead again.

His sulky expression clearly said:

Are we just boss and subordinate? That’s all we are?

But she couldn’t let this slide.

“Our relationship is supposed to be a secret. We agreed it would interfere with work.”

“Okay okay. Then just grant me one favor…”

Aldehyd carefully hunched his shoulders.

But since he had such a massive frame, it didn’t make him look small.

He just looked like a giant man with slightly hunched shoulders.

“What is it?”

“Noona… skip the company dinner and eat with me instead.”

“No. Tonight’s menu is beef.”

At her firm answer, Aldehyd flinched and curled his shoulders further.

A 190 cm giant using passive emotional pressure.

Sienna felt dizzy.

“What? Why that depressed face? You hate saving your own money that much?”

“You’re tall. If you mumble like that I can’t hear you.”

He lowered his head and leaned toward her ear, whispering slightly louder.

“There’s a man there…”

“There’s only one. And Duke Bricks is a married man in his sixties, Ppuppu.”

“Huh? Bricks? You said his name?”

His baby talk instantly disappeared.

At the same time, his eyebrows shot up.

The return of his normal speech was welcome.

The more dangerous expression was not.

At one word from Sienna, Aldehyd’s eyes immediately became obedient.

His warmth spread into her hand.

Looking straight into her eyes, he whispered sweetly like he was begging for affection.

“I’m jealous.”

Sienna let out a deep sigh.

I just wanted to spend the rest of my life quietly doing good deeds before dying.

Instead, a cute but insane man had suddenly entered her fishing pond.

She hadn’t even built the pond.

He built the net himself and quietly trapped himself inside it.
