Chapter 1
Prologue ā Life struggles to emerge from the egg.
One day, when I opened my eyes, everything in the world was pitch dark.
Not only that, but my arms and legs felt as if something was blocking them, making me feel stifled.
Was I kidnapped?
I recalled the movie I had watched and gone to bed thinking about the previous day. The protagonist who was shoved into the trunk of a car was probably feeling something similar to what I felt now.
But who on earth would kidnap me, and for what reason?
All I could offer were my slightly stronger-than-average body and my youth.
Youth.
A strong body.
When my thoughts reached that point, fear suddenly gripped meāwas I being targeted for human trafficking or something similar?
I remembered urban legends about the organs of healthy men being harvested.
āI-I have to escape from here!
Even someone as positive as me felt panic and unease in this situation.
The thought that I had to get out of this situation by any means fully blossomed in my mind.
āSomeone, please save me!
I couldnāt speak properly, as if my mouth were blocked.
Crack. Snap.
As I struggled this way and that, I noticed that the hard thing surrounding me was slowly cracking and breaking.
After shaking my body violently for a while, I heard a crack as something split apart.
At that moment, my arms broke through the thick shell, revealing the world outside. Beyond the cracks of my old world, I saw the night sky with two moons rising.
āWhere on earth is this place!?
Before my eyes, pale with fear and confusion, whitish letters appeared.
