“Via, marry me.”“…You idiot. Who proposes like that? But sure.”“…What?”“I actually came here to propose to you too.”

My childhood rival proposed to me first.I’m happy about it, but… why would he do that?It seemed suspicious, so I looked into it and found out something shocking.

“I think I went back in time.”“Oh, what a coincidence. Me too.”“Via, I’m serious. I saw your family home burn down with my own eyes.”“I’m serious too. Your family was accused of treason and executed.”

Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who returned to the past.So…

“We bless this holy union. The groom may now kiss the bride.”“Try it and I’ll kill you.”“Then make sure the veil hides us.”

And so, Beatrice and Clyde decide to get married. It’s just an alliance to change the future and prevent the tragedies they both remember… at least, that’s what they tell themselves.
