Synopsis
Q: What happens if you propose to your childhood friend after going back in time?
A:
- āAre you crazy?ā
- āGet lost.ā
āAnd somehow, Iām the one who has to do the proposing!ā
But if I want to prevent the tragedy that happened before I went back in time, I have to make this proposal succeed.
So, gathering my courage, I was about to propose to my childhood rival whenā¦
āVia, marry me.ā
āā¦You idiot. Who proposes like that? But sure.ā
āā¦What?ā
āI actually came here to propose to you too.ā
My childhood rival proposed to me first.
Iām happy about it, but⦠why would he do that?
It seemed suspicious, so I looked into it and found out something shocking.
āI think I went back in time.ā
āOh, what a coincidence. Me too.ā
āVia, Iām serious. I saw your family home burn down with my own eyes.ā
āIām serious too. Your family was accused of treason and executed.ā
Apparently, I wasnāt the only one who returned to the past.
Soā¦
āWe bless this holy union. The groom may now kiss the bride.ā
āTry it and Iāll kill you.ā
āThen make sure the veil hides us.ā
And so, Beatrice and Clyde decide to get married.
Itās just an alliance to change the future and prevent the tragedies they both remember⦠at least, thatās what they tell themselves.
